Flaming gays

I think just because I'm the polar opposite how they act. I don't hate them though, I mean live your life the way ya want. Personally i dnt mind them. I think sumtimes they can be a bit TOO much, which causes people to think that all gay people r like that which is soooo not true.

My response was that I did not believe it had any relationship to this other usage, but then there's a lot I don't know about internetspeak. Does any of you know anything about the origins of the term? I am interested in any thoughts, feelings or other feedback you all might have on this topic.
